The Sollatek Voltshield Automatic Voltage Switchers also have built in spike/surge protection and operate by disconnecting power to your electronics/electrical equipment when voltage levels exceed safe limits. Once the voltage returns to safe levels, the AVS automatically reconnects your appliances.
